Michael Warrington began photographing as a part-time gig while at university. Eventually gave the whole studying thing away to do it full time. Started by assisting a well-known advertising photographer. From this he learned how to count the number of excess bags when travelling by aeroplane (13 was the record), hold a person-sized reflector atop a windy cliff and to fill in when an extra subject was needed in a shot. Credits in this latter role include Man Walking Through Airport Door, Kayaker on a Lake and on one glorious occasion, Man Punching Well Above His Weight in a Hot Tub with a Model. As of February 2020 the latter remain in use at a certain spa resort.

Deciding that he'd peaked as an assistant, Michael established Warrington Photography in 2007, based in Brisbane. We cover commercial photography; corporate portraits, head shots, products and general marketing material.
